The importance of money in my life

The importance of money in my life

I believe that money is a medium of exchange of goods, nothing more. Some people think that money can buy many things more which can buy, like happiness, love and love life in general.

Most people believe that have money is have everything, and it is not. Money only buys your basic necessities of life, such as eating, wash up and get dressed. But life is actually is much more than dressing well and have friends with deep pockets.

For me it is much more important to be a good person, and I depressed when I see people even very close to me, greatly concerned with money, of people with money and how to get money.

Today it is said that life revolves around money and having money is be successful, I think the person who is successful in life, is who gets to be happy and make others happy. The people today make money to buy things they do not want, and impress people who do not like. It's terrible to live in a world where everyone has everything, but no one has room to achieve been happy.

I really hope that someday things will change and that people realize that in the end when you die that's left are the experiences, memories and good times. The money does not go beyond this life, and does not always bring good news, people with economic power can become very dangerous.

"To vote or not to vote..."

To vote or not to vote, it is the problem. In my case, I'm enlisted in the vote center since I was eighteen years old. I think that the vote is an act of democracy very important, because is a part of this government system that help us to choose the representatives.
The woman vote, is a recently event, before the woman in the world weren’t considered in the elections, less in the nominations, at that time, the woman have her stay in the home, don’t in the job or the elections. In USA, a lot of women were organized for them rights, and many lost their lives by to get the right to vote. The vote for women was a fight for the right to democracy that I can’t to devaluate.
In this time all is very different, now in this country the vote is voluntary, if you don't like vote, you don't go to vote.  I think that is very good, because no one can force anyone to vote, the vote is free, take it or leave it, but is your decision.
On the other hand, I believe that democracy in this country, is far removed from the concept of “democracy”, that adopted by the Greeks: “government done for the people”.  In this country that is a cruel lie, because we elect representatives, but we not choose the laws.  The representative democracy is beautiful until candidates are elected, after, all is money and power.
I'm going to vote tomorrow ... this is the only instance of democracy we have left.

Hobbies

When I was child, I lived with my cousin, he is fourty years more old me, and when I was a baby, he played the guitar and I looked him. He listened rock's music for example, rolling stones, deep purple, europe, U2.

I grown with he, and in my eleven birthday, my father given to me a guitar, this was fantastic because my cousin can teached how play this instrument.
Now, I have twenty years old, and in my free times, I sing and play the guitar, and when I am  very very inspired, I compose song with a letters that  talk of the love, the life, of my friends, and now the letters of my songs are the revolution, of the politic problems of the country.

thanks to my hobbie, I become in a woman with more force, I learn to express my ideas and my opinions in diferents places. For example in one occassion, I sang in the "Central Unitaria de Trabajadores" in Santiago, with a lot of people, I was very nervous but if I could not play guitar and sing,  I never would have expressed what I felt at that moment. The people applauded me and given me congratulations.

The guitar in my life is as a one part of me, is a other organ of my body that works in harmony with all others natural organs. The guitar is a canal through which pass all my feelings and melodies come to the outside. I love play the guitar.

Comparison School v/s University , My own experience

In high school I went to a Catholic training school so my upbringing was very religious and conservative.
It was a Scientific-Humanist school, the congregation of Father Damien of Molokai. The classes were starting at 8:00 am, I used a gray color school uniform from Monday to Friday, and every day, we were beginning the classes with a prayer.
The subjects were like those of a normal school: Math, Language, History, Physical Education, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Except that in my school the subject of religion was taken much more seriously, in the science subjects each had an elective, which in the end were mandatory and we had Mass every week.
The University has been very different from all this, because is a state institution, so that Catholicism is completely out of my training. Classes do not always start at the same hour and are not always in the same room, the subjects and teachers change every semester, and academic exigency is much higher, I have more classmates and not always are the same in all subjects.
It's been a big change, a new experience for me, my life in general has changed a lot since I came to college and I had to learn to be responsible for myself, as opposed to school, here nobody complains if you miss classes or if you didn't study for an exam.
Now, I changed the school uniform by ordinary clothes, the Eucharist weekly by study's nights and parties with friends and classmates.

My presentation Topic

My presentation Topic

In my presentation, I would like to speak about of “the geometry of snowflakes”.  Primarily, I want to talk about the story of his study, how they form and the different types that exist.
In physical geography, exist a branch called climatology and this is the study of climate and the changes over chronological time.  This is a very important issue that had occupied the geography since its inception.
The climatology, studies the microclimates, and the formations of the precipitation. In my presentation, the type of precipitation that I will address is precipitation of solids or snow and more specifically I want to talk about the different forms this can take the geometry of snowflakes.
I chose this topic because I find it very entertaining and interesting, also because belonging to the branch of geography that interests me and which I intend to specialize in the future. On the other hand thought it was a very beautiful topic for show.
My presentation consists of three fundamental points: first I want to give an introduction for talking about the history of this type of investigation and classification of the different snowflakes.
In the second point, I will explain in a clear and simple, how snowflakes form and what factors affect their classification and the different types of forms that the snowflakes have.
And finally, in the third point, I will show the class, the main types of snowflakes and its geometry, exhibiting photographs of snowflakes taken by microscope.

Why I decided to study Geography?

For me study geography was a difficult decision, as I had to choose between this career and pedagogy in mathematics, many people say that I took the best road, but I think there is a part of me that still wants to teach.
I am studying geography, because I have never decided by a thing very scientific or   social in my life, I am a mixture of both, and so is geography.
The geography keeps the relationship between the scientist and the historian, that many other disciplines have lost, and the result of that relationship is given completely for protect the environment and for the good of society, I love that.
Moreover through this career is possible to know in great depth the events occurring on the planet, natural risks like earthquakes, the mobilization of people, regions of our country, and so on.
All this catches my curiosity. In these two-year of career I have learned to know the discipline and, more and more, I am interested.
I study Geography because I intend to do something to improve the world and the quality of life of people, because I believe that human beings today they are not generous with our nature and is need to change the mentality of new generations in this regard.
I study this career because I want to make this world a lot better for the future, because I want to struggle so that they not continue exploiting our planet irresponsibly.
